Possible Solution 2: Using the Incorrect Login Mechanism
When logging into MYOB Advanced directly through your browser, there are two possible login mechanisms that could be setup by your MYOB Advanced administrator:
- Using the standard Username and Password OR
- Using the Secure Authentication method.
Both of these different login mechanisms setup by your MYOB Advanced administrator could have different passwords, but often they are set up with the same one. If you use the Secure Authentication method as per the screenshot below, you will need to using the SSO login method when connecting through Velixo.
The below screenshot shows the button that confirms you use the
Secure Authentication method. Please make note of the type of authentication method you use to sign into
MYOB Advanced through your browser (e.g. an address such as
https://alch-test.myobadvanced.com).
If you use this method (the Secure Authentication method), you are required to use the SSO login through the Velixo Connection Manager pictured below.
If that button does not appear, see the next section solution.
Possible Solution 3: SSO button is not visible
If this button does not appear, a customisation needs to be published to your MYOB Advanced by your Administrator.
