Creating a Report Shortcut in Intelligence Reporting
An LNK file allows a report to be run from a shortcut without needing
to use the Report Manager Interface. LNK files need to be created using
the Report Manager Interface and then associated with the Alchemex.exe
program under the windows operating system.
Resolution
1. To create a LNK file right click on the report and select Create
Report Shortcut. You will be prompted to select a location and name for
the file.
2. Save the LNK file to a location that the user can access.
3. When you double click on the LNK file you have created, the report associated with the LNK file will be launched.
